Paranoïd Room
installation in situ for the Kunsthalle Bern
Paranoïd Room is a room for one person with a complex shape.
This plan, reproduced on the poster of the exhibition, is the superposition of different emblems of entities (religious, political) often associated with the notion of conspiracy, theme of the exhibition.
Four days before the opening, the wood panels made to built the room were stocked outside the wood workshop during the night, and were found the next morning completely burnt. We discussed with the director the possibility to rebuild the panels quickly before the opening, but decided finally that the irony of the situation, the conspiracy conspiring against itself so to speak, was a good element. So only one remain of those panels has been exhibited  in the show.
