Floutage de gueules
Instagram posts based on selfies.
A process that starts on the phone, and finishes there too. Taking a picture, modifying it with an image processing app, and publishing it on IG. Digital.
"Floutage" is french for "making blurry". Yet the expression "foutage de gueule" (without the "L") is a way of saying "making fun of someone", and is translated literally as "screwing my face". So the verb is changed to something less aggressive: Blurrying my face.
